Fanzoo, Inc. (“Fanzoo” or “we” or “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the types of Personal Information we collect when you interact with us, including but not limited to information provided when you access our websites (including www.fanzoo.com) and however else you may interact with us (collectively, the “Service(s)” or “Fanzoo Service(s)”). This Policy applies to all Fanzoo Services, regardless of the platform or device used. It describes all Personal Information collected, used, transmitted, disclosed, stored, or maintained by us, including both electronic and paper records.

Please read this Policy carefully to fully understand how we collect, use, share, and protect your Personal Information. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Services.

Information We Collect and Use

Information You Give Us

When you sign up for and use our Services as a fan or athlete, we may collect and store Personal Information you provide, including:

  1. Personal Identifiers. We receive personal identifiers you provide (for example, your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, signature, or similar identifiers) and use them to:


    • Respond to and complete your requests (including sending notifications and answers related to questions you submit)
    • Communicate with you for registration, customer service, and informational purposes (including sending you confirmation emails, notices, updates, invoices, and security alerts)
    • Communicate with you for marketing purposes (including sending you news, promotions, and special offers that we, our affiliates, or others believe may be of interest to you)
    • Create internal identification and reference codes to identify you in our systems
  2. Communications and Submissions. We collect the information and content you submit when you do any of the following:


    • Submit questions
    • Participate in calls between fans and athletes
    • Respond to questions as an athlete
    • Post information on our websites (including public testimonials or forum posts you may choose to submit)
    • Otherwise voluntarily communicate with Fanzoo (for instance, through contact forms, profile forms, email communications, or surveys)

We use this information to respond to and fulfill your requests, manage our relationships and customer service, and provide and improve our websites, products, and services.

  1. Fanzoo Referral Information. If you use our referral program to recommend potential athletes or to tell a friend about Fanzoo, you may need to provide contact information for yourself and the friend. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting them to visit our site. Fanzoo stores this information solely for the purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.

  2. Financial Information. We receive financial information such as payment card or PayPal™ or Stripe™ details and other related data to:


    • Process payments for products and services purchased by fans
    • Issue athlete and referral payments
  3. Commercial Information. We collect and generate commercial information (such as records of products and services purchased on our websites or the services you have enrolled in). We use this information to:


    • Respond to and fulfill your requests
    • Improve our product and service offerings
    • Communicate with you
    • Tailor our marketing efforts
    • Generate internal reports
  4. Inferences from the Information Listed Above. We use the information described above to draw inferences about your preferences to help us develop and provide better products and services.

  5. Audio and Visual Information.


    • We receive any digital photos you share with us through our Services.
    • We may record customer service telephone calls for quality purposes and to meet legal obligations.
    • We may record video calls between fans and athletes for reasons including quality control and dispute resolution.
  6. Privacy Choices. We receive and retain any opt-outs or other choices you make related to how we collect, use, and disclose your Personal Information.

Information Third Parties Provide About You

We may supplement the information we collect about you with data from third parties:

  1. Social Networks and Publicly Available Data. Our websites include social media features such as widgets like “Share” buttons. These features may collect your IP address, track pages you visit on our websites, and set cookies to function properly.
  2. Marketing Partners and Data Providers. We may collect information about you from marketing partners and data providers that helps us offer relevant products or services.
  3. Information Collected from Affiliates. We may collect information about you from Fanzoo affiliates’ websites and other places where we display ads.
  4. Information Other Users Provide about You. Other users may provide your personal identifiers (like your email address) to invite you to use Fanzoo or share content with you.

Other Information We Collect

We may collect other information about you, your device, or your use of the Services as described at the point of collection or otherwise with your consent. You may choose not to provide certain types of information, but this could affect your ability to use some Fanzoo Services.

Information We Get from Your Use of the Fanzoo Services

We collect information about how you use the Fanzoo Services, such as when you open our emails or view and interact with ads and content (collectively, “Usage Information”). We use this data to:

  • Provide and improve our products and services
  • Tailor your experience on and across our websites and other services
  • Tailor our marketing efforts
  • Create internal aggregate reports on website usage and activity

Usage Information includes:

  1. Device Information. We collect device-specific information (hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network info, including phone number).
  2. Browsing Information. We track where you came from (URL referrers), the areas within our Services you visit, how long you spend on them, and the time of day of your visit.

  4. Location Information. With your consent, we may collect precise geolocation information through various technologies (e.g., IP address, GPS, Wi-Fi access points, cell towers).
  5. Inferences from the Information Listed Above. We may use the above information to personalize content and offers, and to improve our products and services.

Automatic Collection of Information from Cookies and Other Technology

We and our partners use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit the Fanzoo Services, including cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or device:

  1. Cookies. A small file sent to your computer when you visit a website, which can store user preferences and other info. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent, though some features of our Services may not function properly without them.
  2. Mobile Identifiers. We may use SDKs that utilize mobile advertising identifiers (like IDFA on Apple or Advertising ID on Android). You can reset these identifiers in your device settings.
  3. Web Beacons. Small graphic images or other code (also called “1×1 GIFs” or “clear GIFs”) can be embedded in web pages or emails to track usage statistics, help manage cookies, and analyze email engagement.

We de-identify or aggregate data we receive and may use or disclose it for any business purpose.

How We Disclose Personal Information

  1. Service Providers. We share Personal Information (including payment, technology, and survey data) with service providers who help us maintain our databases, display content, process payments, and analyze usage. We require that these providers use Personal Information only for the purposes specified in our agreements.
  2. Our Partners from Whom You Have Requested Information. We may share your personal identifiers and commercial information with companies that provide products or services you request, so they can market their offerings to you. If you do not want your Personal Information shared with these companies, contact us (see “How to Contact Us” below).
  3. Within Our Organization. We may share your Personal Information with parents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other entities under our common control, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  4. Social Networks. If you interact with certain features of the Fanzoo Services, certain Personal Information may be published on social networks. See the relevant networks’ privacy policies for details or log out of those services before using ours.
  5. Public Disclosures Using Non-Restricted Services. Content you provide in calls, questions, answers, testimonials, forum posts, or athlete profiles may not be private. Such content may be collected or used by others outside our control. Publicly posting contact information may lead to unsolicited messages.
    • If you wish to update or delete such information, contact us (see “How to Contact Us”). We may not be able to remove all Personal Information if required by law or for technical reasons.
  6. Sweepstakes, Contests, and Promotions. By participating in any Fanzoo Promotions, you agree to the terms that govern them. Personal Information may be disclosed to third parties or the public if required by law or the Promotion’s rules.
  7. Business Transfers. If we undertake a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of company assets, your Personal Information may be disclosed and transferred in connection with the transaction, as permitted by law or contract.
  8. Legal and Similar Disclosures. We may disclose your Personal Information to law enforcement, courts, attorneys, or others involved in legal processes if required by law or if it is necessary to enforce our contracts, comply with the law, or protect our rights or the rights of others.
  9. Otherwise with Your Consent or at Your Direction. We may share information about you with third parties whenever you consent to or direct such sharing.

Opt-Out Choices

We offer choices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your Personal Information on the Fanzoo Services.

  • Email Communications. When you receive promotional communications from us, you can opt out by following unsubscribe instructions in the email or by contacting us at support@fanzoo.com. We may still send administrative emails regarding Fanzoo Services (e.g., notices of updates, registration and athlete application info, transaction-related messages).
  • Update or Delete Your Account Information. If you wish to verify, correct, update, or delete Personal Information in your account, do so via the Edit Profile page once logged in. In some cases, we may be required to keep certain information (by law or other obligations). Residual data may remain in backups. You can also contact us at support@fanzoo.com with any requests.
  • Opt-out of Personalized Advertising. We do not sell your Personal Information, but if you do not wish our partners to provide personalized ads based on your browsing and interests, contact us at support@fanzoo.com.

Note that opting out may not eliminate all advertising; you may still see generic ads while browsing.

California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), California residents have the right to request:

  • The deletion of the Personal Information we have about them
  • Additional details on how we have collected, used, and disclosed Personal Information about them
  • Specific pieces of Personal Information we have about them

California residents also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

Requests for Deletion and to Know About Information Collected

If you make a request under the CCPA, we may require that you provide information so we can verify the request before responding. If we cannot verify your request, we may ask for additional details. We will only use information received in a request to respond to that request.

Other California Requirements

If you are a California resident under 18 and a registered user of any site where this Policy is posted, you can request removal of content or information you have publicly posted on the Fanzoo Services by emailing support@fanzoo.com.

Fanzoo does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Nevada Privacy Rights

We do not sell consumers’ covered information for monetary consideration (as defined in Chapter 603A of the Nevada Revised Statutes). However, if you are a Nevada resident, you can request that we not sell your Personal Information by contacting us (see “How to Contact Us” below).

Information on the Fanzoo Services

Fanzoo is a United States company, and the Services are provided from the United States. If you reside outside the U.S., be aware that your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and possibly other countries with different data protection laws than those in your country. By using the Fanzoo Services or giving us any information, you consent to the collection, processing, and transfer of your information in and to the U.S. and other countries as applicable.

Information Processing and Transfer

We maintain procedural, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of the Personal Information you provide via the Fanzoo Services. However, data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, and any information you submit is at your own risk.

We retain account information and user Posts indefinitely until we determine it has no further commercial significance. We may retain and use this information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

How We Protect and Retain Your Information

We use procedural, technical, and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access or disclosure of the Personal Information you provide. Still, no data transmission is entirely secure. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk.

We retain your account data and Post content indefinitely unless we determine it is no longer needed. We may also retain and use this information to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Third Party Links

The Fanzoo Services may include links to third party websites or services for your convenience or information. These third parties may have their own privacy policies and terms of use, which could differ from ours. You are encouraged to read the privacy policies of any site you visit.

Children’s Personal Information

Unless stated otherwise, we do not knowingly collect or store any Personal Information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child under 13 has provided us information without their consent, they should contact us at support@fanzoo.com. As required by law, we will remove such information. We may also delete information of users under 18 in certain instances.

Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices regarding data collection and usage. If we make material changes that alter how we use or share Personal Information in ways you have not previously consented to, we will provide notice (for example, by posting a notice on our Services).

Any changes to this Policy become effective as of the Effective Date indicated at the top of this page. By continuing to use the Fanzoo Services after the Effective Date, you will be deemed to have understood and agreed to any updates.

This Policy may be supplemented by additional privacy statements or notices in specific circumstances (e.g., details on data collection in certain product features or promotions).
